真值表(truth table)指对一个命题公式，在其中所有命题变元的所有取值可能下，其真值所构成的表格。

定义

对一个命题公式 [math]\displaystyle{ A }[/math] ，其中有 [math]\displaystyle{ P_1, P_2, \dots, P_n }[/math] 共 [math]\displaystyle{ n }[/math] 个命题变元，按照每个命题变元为真假，一共有 [math]\displaystyle{ 2^n }[/math] 种指派及对应的解释；将全部 [math]\displaystyle{ 2^n }[/math] 种解释列成表格，称为命题公式的真值表(truth table)。
